More on the Total Solar Eclipse

The sky darkened.  Winter was approaching.

“I don’t want to die!” said the monarch.

“I will follow the path of the Sun”.

A Total Eclipse of the Sun has not happened in the United States of America in a hundred years.  Hence the hype.  The last Total Solar Eclipse happened across the U.S. on June 8th, 1918 @ 22:07 UTC.

It was the third year in a row that the same small town in Kansas, U.S.A. was hit by a tornado.  We were toward the end of WWI.  On June 6th, 1918 The Battle of Belleau Wood begun and lasted for three weeks.  It was the first huge loss of American soldiers since the beginning of the war.   On June 9th, 1918 the Americans, working together with the French, successfully counter-attacked the German’s fourth offensive extremely weakening it in just four days.  The war ended on November 11th, 1918.

More significantly on June 8th, 1918 a new star was discovered.  Astronomer Grace Cook confirmed the discovery of Nova Aquila(V603 Aquilae).  Aquila is Latin for Eagle.  The constellation is located on the celestial equator, along the Milky Way in the Northern summer.  From Earth: in the direction of the constellations Sagittarius and Ophiuchus.

It is believed that Aquila is a binary system(containing two stars).   Aquila, a white dwarf takes energy from a donor low-mass star(possibly a red dwarf) causing a flare-up much brighter than the two stars themselves.  This is a perfect example of how a body experiences perturbations from a stronger or more massive body around which it orbits.  Together they shine brighter than alone.  A Leo/Aquarius lesson.

The moon orbits the Earth in which we live.  The moon is perturbed by us and we by it.  The Earth is the stronger body; therefore, we can manipulate these lunar energies how we see fit.  The moon in astrology represents the emotions.  If you are attentive to the moon’s cycles you already know the moon’s effect on your cycles and/or emotions (yours and others’).

Some people are better avoided during the Full Moon.  Some people find it hard to sleep when the moon is full and projecting the most light from the Sun.  Some people have very low levels of energy near the New Moon.  Women’s cycles can be set by the moon.  Lunar calendars are important to those who are in touch with the Earth a.k.a. their own body.  “He who realizes the truth of the body can then come to know the truth of the universe”.  ~Ratnasara

This year has been ripe with astronomical events.  Comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova came the closest to Earth in February, a massive solar storm hit Earth the end of April, and a Total Solar Eclipse this month just to name a few!  Before the comet in early February I had a dream:

I dreamt that the Sun was going to burn up the Earth.  A fireball shot straight across one side of the Earth burning 2/3s of the Earth and everything in its path.  I was thinking about what we could do to survive it: collect and save water, soak everything with water before it happens, grow plants in concrete foundations(indoors) so they will not burn up?   It seemed hopeless, but I did not give up.

At the end of April, we were hit by a massive storm and it flooded our place(the one in my dream) at record-breaking levels.  I have been wondering still about the fireball.  The Perseids Meteor Shower is happening right now.  It has been known to have the brightest ‘fireball’ like meteors.  It peaks on Aug. 12th the same day Mercury stations retrograde(changes directions from our point of view).

Later, after the flood, I had a dream that Jupiter collided with the Sun.  Of course, it is highly unlikely, however; the Sun makes conjunction with Jupiter on Oct. 26th, 2017. During October we can witness the Draconids Meteor Shower and the Orionids Meteor Shower.  The end of October marks the beginning of Scorpio season.  Along with the Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Scorpio, the moon will be in Capricorn and conjunct Pluto on the 26th.  Pluto will square Venus in Libra and sextile Mercury in Scorpio on the 27th.  The 19th of October marks the third New Moon after the Solar Eclipse.  If you follow astrology you probably have noticed that aspects tend to happen in threes.  For example: before, during, and after a planet’s retrograde motion it passes over the same degrees three times.

Jupiter leaves Libra for its Scorpio ingress on October 10th, 2017.  Somehow I see October aspects similar to the April 28-29th storm that swept through much of the U.S.(at least 12 states) perhaps manipulated by large businesses such as insurance companies, taxes/IRS, and government programs where the money is granted, like FEMA.  Should we expect another hurricane in the central U.S.?  Only time will tell for sure.  It is odd that we in the central U.S. have reached record low temperatures for the month of Leo!  With the strange weather pattern cooling us down the supervolcano located in Yellowstone National Park is at the back of my mind.  Venus square Pluto(Oct 27th) may represent a loss due to “impersonal cosmic events” in which help comes with a price or that your emotions are not as important as the other party’s money.

Sound familiar?  Based on the charts I studied in April it is exactly what happened with the Solar storm/hurricane at the end of April.  Jupiter was square Pluto.  Venus was on the Aries point and Saturn was square Chiron.  Saturn will square Chiron again, exact on November 1st, 2017.

This eclipse will reach beyond its allocated time 8/21/2017 @ 18:30 UT.  Think back to the first Leo New Moon on July 23rd, 2017.  It could have been the beginning of the change the eclipse(s) will bring.  It may not have been your choice as to where you started, but it is your choice on where you end up.
