Full Moon for the month of Virgo

The Virgo Sun and Pisces moon oppose each other at 3°12′.  The Sabian Symbol for 3° Virgo is Two Guardian Angels, and the Sabian Symbol for 3° Pisces is Petrified Tree Trunks Lie Broken on Desert Sand.

Take record!  Virgo’s organizing, analytical skills and Pisces sensitive, psychic abilities provide the opportunity to see what actually is.  Write it down, record it, take note, or make remembrance of the information you take in during this time.  My interpretation of the two Sabian Symbols above is that the Angels behind the scenes will secure what is indestructible in the public working zone.  The U.S. constitution, Supreme Court, or the issue of Right to Work maybe an example.  Something historical enough to take note of will occur.

From a previous post I mentioned the moon and its effects on us.  Full moons are often stressful in intimate relationships that are out of balance.  Often a Full moon can represent a make it or break it point.  It can also bring us together for a kind of end of the month harvest(enjoying our fruits of our efforts), or a realization of what needs to go and what could be improved.

The moon orbits the Earth in which we live.  The moon is perturbed by us and we by it.  The Earth is the stronger body; therefore, we can manipulate these lunar energies how we see fit.  The moon in astrology represents the emotions.  If you are attentive to the moon’s cycles you already know the moon’s effect on your cycles and/or emotions (yours and others’).

Some people are better avoided during a Full Moon.  Some people find it hard to sleep when the moon is full and projecting the most light from the Sun.  Some people have very low levels of energy near the New Moon.  Women’s cycles can be set by the moon.  Lunar calendars are important to those who are in touch with the Earth a.k.a. their own body.  “He who realizes the truth of the body can then come to know the truth of the universe”.  ~Ratnasara

VirgoFullMoon2018

In this chart(Virgo Full Moon for Saint Louis, Missouri @ 6:56 am Sunday, August 26, 2018) the ascendant is at 8° Virgo opposite Nessus and the Part of Fortune.  Nessus represents abuse and where or what we need to bring a stop to.  The Part of Fortune represents the Lot of the situation or deliberate intent, ideals that we will not compromise, and needed self awareness.  Nessus conjunct the Part of Fortune on the descendant(cusp of the 6th, work, and 7th, relationships, house) could represent the Lot of abuse in the work place or personal relationships.

If you are in balance within and without(male/female) you may not be effected by the abuse.  You will be able to notice it and where it stems from.  If you are not in balance within and without you could be being abused or being the abuser and may not recognize it.  In this case the abuser denies the abuse.  It is important to be self-aware in order to understand and address the role in relating to others.  For more on the balancing of the male/female see the past link below:

There are two grand trines during this Full moon.  A grand Earth trine between the Sun, Saturn, and Uranus, and a grand fire trine between Vesta, Pallas, and Eris.  Work flows smoothly as we focus on our projects and the details.  The fire power of action allows for ease of motivation to move forward on work and projects.

Responsibility is in the intention.  With Vertex opposite the North Node, or conjunct the South Node past behaviors are out of adjustment with new circumstances.  An awakening occurs when man is due to move forward.  Mars stations direct on Monday the 27th.  This means that Mars is moving very slowly or will become stationary very soon.  War is on hold or the action/desire is resting momentarily.

Uranus square Lilith could represent darkness shouted out or something brought out of the shadows for all to see and hear so that it can be work with.  Destructive if not constructive.  Demanding relations need attention.  With Venus square Pluto we are seeing the best and the worst in our relations.  Be compassionate to everyone’s needs including your own.  If objects do not provide lasting fulfillment it may be time to give them up even if it seems very difficult to do that.  Growth requires hard work which the Virgo Sun is providing the motivation and practicality to help make it happen.

Look directly at the thing, situation, or person and except it exactly as it is.  What is important and what can go?  What is true and what is a mirage?   Sometimes we want to desperately believe something or hold onto something, but it isn’t true or healthy for us at all.  Drop the preconceived notions and see what is actual and really there.  Plan for the future as what happens now could have a lasting effect.  People may try to push their agenda no matter what.  See things as they are and could be.

The sextile from the moon to Saturn could bring a hint of sorrow.  The idea of maintaining what already exists is there.  A gift from the past could be bestowed.

It is interesting to note in the Full moon chart for Saint Louis: the Virgo Sun is located in the 12th house(Pisces placement) and the Pisces moon is in the 6th house(Virgo placement).  Health is determined by the emotional state, and the emotional state is determined by the environment(work or possibly a healing center).  The Full moon, as it begins to wane(the state after the moon has reached its fullest) is the perfect time to begin a detox.

Love and Blessings,
